When I was going to job interviews in the late 80s I was always told not to wear trousers because it was "unprofessional". So the only "appropriate" thing is a pencil skirt. A straight, knee length skirt and you cannot run in it or take big steps or climb or sit any way you want. I suppose it looks nice, but I think the idea that it's the one of the only appropriate office attire for a woman is sexist.

why does no one consider the size of the shoe wearer's foot? Short feet or toes don't tolerate very high heels. Think about it: a shorter foot has to make a steeper angle to get the back 5 inches off the ground AND leaves a smaller part leftover at the ball of the foot on which to balance. I love this heel but am having trouble still with holes where the gussets would normally be. What am I doing wrong? Is anyone else having this problem? I'm also having problems on the knit side telling where the "hole" is after the last active stitch for some reason. I want so much to learn how to do this heel right as I love the technique and it is sooooo much easier.

Good point -- are you able to view the annotations? I suggest that you purl into the bar rather than knit into it (on the annotation). When I made the video I was not able to see the knitting, I was looking at it via the monitor and so as a result ended up knitting when I should have purled. (On the wrong side row.) In addition, not only should you knit or purl) when M1 (dependent on R or W side) but also twist the stitch so it tightens up the space and ensure that there are NO holes.

I'm surprised by the way Charisa makes a new stitch on the purl rows: she lifts a bar from the row below and _knits_ into it. That seems OK on the knit rows, but wouldn't it be better on purl rows, to _purl_ into the bar? Otherwise, you get a purl bump on the right side, where it doesn't belong.

Double clutching is for old trucks or if the synchro is damaged. Old trucks had, so to say, a "heavy transmission" and if you shifted without double clutching, the gearbox would fall apart because of it's large inertia. Double clutching allowed the gearbox to spin up/ spin down. It's time consuming for a regular driver and if you take care of your tranny, that is don't shift like Scumacher on a track day, you won't need it. It's bad uphill if you don't rev higher because the car may stall...

Depend what ride he got; most cars come with a synchro so double clutching in general is not needed however it does still provide a smooth downshift when done correctly. If he is a nub driver I highly recemend he just practice a master heel toe downshift first then maybe learn DCHT for fun.

I think 'MRJoelAlonso' was just a bit off on the explanation of the technique. Ussually the sequence is clutch - shift to neutral - let clutch out (this brings the revs down a bit more) - clutch again and shift into gear (up or down)... It is ussually used to bring the revs down for trannies without or with poor sychro's, or to get a little more slowing force. The neutral action slows the motor more giving a greater deceleration when you hit the lower gear or making it better match a higher gear

I have tama iron cobra jrs. Cause im a cheap bastard but the reg. iron cobras foot board is the same size. Like 9 inchs or a lil more. any way ive noticed if my foot boards are high i can get a ghost note with my heel. Which isnt good, but better than no note atall. These are singlehandedly the dumbest shoes I have EVER seen!!!! I'm a ballet dancer and have been doing pointe over 6+ years and it's not something that is enjoyable to feel on your feet. Plus, ballerinas take years of formal ballet training before moving to real pointe shoes to make sure the dancers ankles are strong enough to stand on pointe.... these shoes do not only mock ballet, but they just look ridiculous.... do you want a broken ankle? get a fucking clue.

sorry about that, i responded to the wrong comment in your box. this does not reduce fuel consumption because rev matching requires you to give the car some gas before downshifting. this will always in every scenario cause fuel to be used, therefore lowering fuel consumption. not substantially, but it does lower it.

i have "Race Pro" for the xbox 360 and it has every option available as far as racing cars go. check it out, you can set every option from tire pressure to wheel camber to roll bar settings. i have B set to clutch, RB is upshift, LB is downshift, RT is gas, and LT is brake.

I THINK it's because you don't need to physically push the pedal, the weight lifted off the pedal when you drop your leg causes the beater to pull back and kick when your foot lands. Now you have time to do a single toe push as you lift your leg again. Takes a while to get right (I haven't yet ;) )
